I live in a newer development that doesn't currently have easy access to shopping or other conveniences. When I first moved there I found myself driving back and forth as I ran errands. Eventually, I realized that if I planned my trips in advance I could save time and gas. Now, I go grocery shopping or run other errands on my way to or from work, or at other times when I am in the area. This requires very little effort on my part and has made my life much easier. It also saves me money on gas and has saved me from putting tons of miles on my car.
