Welcome to TravelWise Schools!
The TravelWise Schools program helps students, parents and teachers see how students travel to and from school. From there, they can work together to develop informed, actionable alternative travel strategies that are rooted in safety, health and wellness and that benefit the environment and the community.
In addition to the standard TravelWise goals of reducing energy consumption, reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality, the TravelWise Schools program seeks to make traveling to and from school a multidisciplinary learning experience, create accessible communities and empower students to make safe and healthy transportation decisions.
