The Care to Clear the Air campaign is a winter initiative inspired on the success of the summer Clear the Air Challenge . This seasonal effort promotes TravelWise behaviors that are winter-friendly. Participants commit to utilizing at least one of the following TravelWise strategies to help improve local air quality -

• Public transportation
• Carpooling/Rideshare
• Teleworking/e-Travel

The Park City Criterium is a 90-minute race up and around a many cornered track using Park City's entire Main Street. It will circuit the downtown historical buildings and restaurants of the district. Fast and furious, the circuit is a little over one mile in length and after 90 minutes, the winner will have completed nearly 40 miles. This event also includes Amateur and Kid's races for fun for the entire family.

The Tour of Utah visits the mountains for the first time in Stage One. The day will begin with a neutral roll out from downtown Ogden. After a fast start in Ogden Canyon, the riders will face two tough climbs and 85 miles towards an exciting finish at Research Park in Salt Lake City.

The Clear the Air Challenge, issued by Governor Herbert, Mayor Becker and Mayor Corroon, is a month long competition starting July 1st that gives you the chance to reduce your vehicle emissions by choosing alternatives to driving alone using TravelWise strategies. By driving less and driving smarter, you will ultimately help improve air quality, reduce traffic congestion and conserve energy in Utah. You will also be eligible for weekly and grand prize drawings by meeting straightforward, achievable travel goals. The Challenge is open to travelers of all ages throughout Utah.
